Kim Sungwan Appointed as New Blue House Spokesperson: "Will Communicate with the Public in a Humble Manner"
Kim Sungwan, a political commentator, has been appointed as the new spokesperson for the Blue House.
On September 21, his first day reporting for work at the Blue House, Spokesperson Kim met with reporters and stated, "As President Lee Jaemyung has said, I will strive to communicate more with the public and maintain a humble attitude."
Spokesperson Kim previously worked for the media-specialized outlet Media Today, and has been active as a commentator on various broadcast programs, including hosting radio current affairs shows.
The position of Blue House spokesperson had been vacant for about five months, since the previous spokesperson, Jeon Eunsoo, resigned at the end of April to run in a by-election as a parliamentary candidate for Asan, Chungcheongnam-do.
