CJ CheilJedang has launched a new integrated recruitment event tailored to the era of artificial intelligence (AI), aiming to attract outstanding talent who will drive the company's future growth and global business expansion.
On September 21, CJ CheilJedang announced that it held the 'CJ UNBOUND' recruitment conference for new employees on the 18th at the CJ Talent Center in Jung-gu, Seoul. 'CJ UNBOUND' is the first large-scale recruitment conference to integrate hiring touchpoints that were previously operated separately — such as college job fairs and online information sessions — according to each business sector and job function. The name 'UNBOUND' represents the idea of breaking down boundaries and not being constrained by limits. The company explained that this expresses its intention to move beyond traditional one-way recruitment briefings and instead create a platform for face-to-face communication and hands-on job experience.

This enables job seekers to directly and indirectly experience actual work practices and business operations, helping them resolve questions about their career paths. For this event, 300 participants were selected from pre-registered applicants through a lottery system.
Held under the slogan, "Crossing Boundaries, Opening the Best Tomorrow Together," the event comprised four sessions. In the first session, 'AI INSIGHT,' Lee Nakjun, the author of the popular web novel "Trauma Center," physician, and content creator, gave a lecture on the topic, "In the AI era, those who ask questions will survive." He discussed the human capability to ask questions, planning skills unique to humans, and insights into future career strategies within a rapidly changing job ecosystem.
During the 'AI×WORK' session, CJ CheilJedang introduced its marketing intelligence solution, 'FOOD AI 360,' showing participants how AI technology is transforming work processes in the food industry and addressing their questions about these changes.
The third session, 'INSIDE THE BUSINESS,' featured current employees from business divisions such as lifestyle foods, technological materials, and core materials, who spoke about their respective roles. The final session, 'EXPERIENCE & CONNECT,' included participatory programs such as 'Career Talk,' where job seekers conversed with current employees from various fields; 'Recruiting,' offering consultations for each hiring process; and 'Lucky Quest,' where attendees experienced brands and products through stamp tours, lucky draws, and other mission-based activities. The AI experience zone allowed participants to assess their practical skills by working with AI to define and solve problems based on real-world business scenarios.
A representative from CJ CheilJedang stated, "We hope that through CJ UNBOUND, job seekers can experience new ways of working in the AI era and clarify their career direction. We look forward to many talented individuals with a spirit of challenge and innovation joining CJ CheilJedang on its journey to becoming a global lifestyle and culture company."
