Fire Breaks Out at Paju Factory...Fire Authorities Issue Level 1 Response
On September 20, a fire broke out at a factory in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, prompting the fire authorities to issue a Level 1 response and begin firefighting operations.
According to the fire authorities, the fire occurred at around 11:44 a.m. at a factory in Jori-eup, Paju, Gyeonggi Province on the same day. There have been no casualties reported so far, but four buildings constructed with sandwich panels are said to have sustained fire damage.
To respond to the situation, the fire authorities issued a Level 1 response at around 12:28 p.m., dispatching 26 pieces of equipment and 65 firefighters to extinguish the flames.
