Cho Kuk: "We Must End Derogatory and Divisive Politics in Line with President Lee's Intent"
Cho Kuk, head of the Innovation Research Institute of the Cho Kuk Innovation Party, stated on September 20, "In line with President Lee Jaemyung's message on social media, we must put an end to derogatory politics and divisive politics." He added, "From now on, let us restore the culture of participatory politics created by conscious citizens and politician Roh Moo-hyun."
On this day, through his Facebook account, Cho said, "I respectfully and strongly urge lawmakers, politicians, commentators, YouTubers, and citizens who identify as pro-Lee Jaemyung to heed this call." Previously, President Lee had posted on X (formerly Twitter) asking supporters to refrain from hateful expressions.
Cho pointed out, "The harsh attitude of the 'President’s friends' does not expand support and empathy, but instead provides grounds and justification for inciting hatred and criticism against the President." He emphasized, "Paradoxically, this actually puts the President in a difficult position."

Cho also said, "Those who have fueled antagonistic politics by singing praises for Lee and turning comrades into adversaries, and who have created and encouraged an ecosystem of hatred and animosity for their own political purposes, should follow the President’s words." He further urged, "Please remember what President Lee said at the press conference: 'We are all pro-Moon Jae-In, pro-Roh Moo-Hyun, pro-Kim Dae-Jung, and comrades of Lee Jaemyung.'"
