Nine-Day Administrative Audit Examines Overall City Administration
The Kimcheon City Council in North Gyeongsang Province concluded its 18-day session with the end of the 3rd plenary session of the 1st regular meeting of the 261st council on September 18, 2026.

During this regular session, in addition to deliberating various proposals, the council conducted a nine-day administrative audit to examine the executive branch's key policies, project implementation status, and overall administrative affairs.
Throughout the audit process, the council presented recommendations and requests for correction regarding matters requiring administrative improvement, while commending excellent initiatives and proactive administration, thus focusing the audit on providing improvements and alternatives.
At the plenary session on this day, the council passed proposals reviewed by each standing committee and the Special Budget and Accounts Committee, and adopted the 2026 Administrative Audit Results Report.
Chairman Oh Segil urged, "We ask the executive branch to actively address the issues and improvement requests raised in the administrative audit to ensure they lead to improved quality of life for citizens and better administrative services."
