Choo Mi-ae Visits 'Yeoju Angels' Home' Ahead of Chuseok to Encourage Children with Disabilities and Staff
On the 17th, ahead of the Chuseok holiday, Gyeonggi Province Governor Choo Mi-ae visited 'Yeoju Angels' Home,' a residential care facility for children with disabilities located in Jeomdong-myeon, Yeoju City. She inspected the living environment and encouraged staff members who continue to provide 24-hour care even during the holiday period.
On this day, Governor Choo met with Byun Hyun-gu, the director of Yeoju Angels' Home, as well as staff members, to listen to the challenges faced in facility management and in the field of caregiving, and to exchange opinions on necessary support measures.

Established in 1998, Yeoju Angels' Home is a residential facility for children with disabilities operated by the social welfare corporation 'Pentecost Town of Peace.' Currently, a total of 61 children, including infants and young children with severe disabilities such as cerebral palsy and autism, are residing at the facility. Fifty-five staff members, including the director, provide 24-hour care services covering living support, education, medical care, and rehabilitation.
