Applications Open Until the 29th

Kakao Pay Securities announced on the 17th that it will co-sponsor the financial culture talk show "Money, Money Happy Talk" for newlywed couples, hosted by the Financial Happiness Network, along with the Financial Supervisory Service.
The talk show aims to provide newlyweds with an opportunity to share their thoughts on finance and to map out the foundation for asset accumulation. It will be held on October 15 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Onsdrome in Myeong-dong, Seoul. Under the theme "Our First Money Life Together: The Future of Money for Couples," 100 newlywed couples (200 people in total) will be invited to attend, and participation is free of charge.
Applications to participate are open until the 29th of this month. Any newlywed couple can apply, and those selected by lottery will be notified individually in early October. For more details about how to apply, check the "Event" menu under "Securities" at the bottom of the Kakao Pay app.
The talk show will feature speakers such as Kyung-Il Kim, Professor of Psychology at Ajou University, Jinwoo Lee, an economic commentator, Yayhee Kim, a certified public accountant, and broadcaster Sangjin Oh. Drawing upon the Financial Supervisory Service's "Life-cycle Financial Lifestyle Guidebook," the panel will discuss, from their respective fields of expertise, a wide range of challenges that newlyweds may face—from differences in financial perspectives between spouses to consumption and investment, and preparations for retirement—and share insights on sound financial planning.
Woon Young Jung, Chairman of the Financial Happiness Network and an expert in financial consumer protection, will lead the talk, providing advice from the perspective of a financial consumer. Comedian Kiri Kim and actress Jiin Moon, a couple in their third year of marriage, will also participate as newlywed MCs, sharing their own experiences and concerns about asset management after marriage.
Since July, Kakao Pay Securities has been running the campaign "In the Republic of Korea in 2026, couples receive stocks when they get married." This campaign, which combines the traditional wedding gift culture with stock investments to celebrate the start of a new life, is about to surpass 60,000 participants just two months after its launch.
Kakao Pay Securities stated, "We wanted to provide newlyweds, who are starting to manage their finances together after marriage, with valuable information and perspectives that can serve as the foundation for building their assets," adding, "We hope this talk show will become another meaningful occasion to promote healthy financial habits."
The Financial Supervisory Service commented, "The early years of marriage are an important starting point for couples to understand each other's financial values and plan their future together, establishing the foundation for a happy married life. We hope this talk show will help newlyweds set and achieve their financial goals together."
