Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, is reportedly scheduled to attend the state dinner with U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
On the 15th (local time), CNBC cited sources familiar with the matter as saying that although the invitation list has not yet been made public, CEO Huang is expected to attend the dinner during his visit to Washington.
CEO Huang and President Trump have quickly strengthened their relationship in recent months. During a recent AI-related conference, CEO Huang publicly spoke with President Trump after answering his call on stage.
CNBC highlighted that CEO Huang’s attendance at the state dinner is yet another indication of the close rapport between the two. It was noted that both men jointly rebutted claims from other tech company CEOs warning against the risks of rapid AI development, demonstrating their alignment this week as well.
AI is expected to be a major agenda item at the summit between President Trump and President Xi. Earlier this year, CEO Huang was among a handful of company leaders who accompanied President Trump on his visit to China.

A White House official told CNBC, “President Trump has invited several outstanding American business leaders to the dinner with President Xi,” adding, “The president will always prioritize achieving good deals that benefit the United States.”
