KIDI to Hold "2026 KIDI Insurance Future Forum"
The Korea Insurance Development Institute announced on the 16th that it will hold the '2026 KIDI Insurance Future Forum' under the theme 'The Future of Insurance Reshaped by Demographics, Bio, and AI' at the FKI Tower Conference Center in Yeouido, Seoul, on September 30.
The Insurance Future Forum, now in its sixth year, serves as a venue for domestic and international experts to share strategies for addressing major issues facing the insurance industry.
This year's forum will discuss the impact of advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and biotechnology, as well as demographic changes, on the insurance industry, along with future risks and response strategies.
Speakers will include experts from the International Longevity Centre-UK, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Boston Dynamics in the United States, and Microsoft, among others, from both Korea and overseas.
David Sinclair, CEO of the International Longevity Centre-UK, will present on "Redesigning for a 100-Year Life Cycle: Global Cases and Recommendations for the Future of Korea's Insurance Industry." Benny Zee, Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, will address "Biotech Innovation and the Future of Health Risks." Jason Fiorello, Chief Legal Officer (CLO) at Boston Dynamics, will discuss "Physical AI and Changes in Risk." Dorota Zimnoch, Industry Advisor at Microsoft, will speak on "Agentic AI: Redesigning Insurance Profit Models and Innovating Customer Experience."

The event will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. A representative from the Korea Insurance Development Institute stated, "We aim to highlight the need for the insurance industry—now at a turning point—to proactively understand future risks and embrace a paradigm shift."
