The Hannam 3 District (total area: 386,364.5 square meters), covering the Hannam-dong and Bogwang-dong areas, has reached a 99% completion rate in demolition work. The demolition is expected to be finished within the year, after which the main construction will begin.
Before building eight blocks, 13 multi-family residential plots, seven parks, and public offices, the project requires the construction of internal roads and land preparation.
The city plans to commence infrastructure (road) construction within the district this year and simultaneously proceed with the approval process for the amended project implementation plan that reflects the results of the latest review to accelerate project progress.
The Hannam 3 District will feature 123 residential buildings with a maximum height of 21 stories, accommodating 5,970 households as well as various ancillary and community facilities. It will also include 1,020 units of public rental housing, along with essential infrastructure such as an elementary school, parks, and parking lots.
The complex will also provide pleasant and comfortable pedestrian zones known as "shade walkways" to ensure comfortable movement even during heat waves. Greenery and landscaped areas will be installed along key pedestrian routes such as Usadan-ro and public walkways, and parks and internal walkways will be designed to allow pedestrians to naturally enjoy shade and rest areas as they move through the site.
