The Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry in North Gyeongsang Province presented practical solutions for enhancing local businesses' tax management capabilities and helping them respond to a rapidly changing global financial market.
On the 14th, the Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with the NH Investment & Securities Gumi WM Center, held an "On-site Presentation of Corporate Tax-saving Strategies and Global Stock Market Outlook" in the chamber’s mid-sized conference room. The event was attended by company representatives, executives and employees, and related organizations and associations.

The purpose of the presentation was to share tax management methods that can reduce corporate tax burdens, and to examine financial market trends and investment strategies in light of external variables such as exchange rates, international oil prices, and the US base interest rate.
In the first lecture, Song Sungjin, a tax accountant at NH Investment & Securities TAX Center, discussed corporate tax reduction processes, tax reform plans, key year-end closing items, and points to consider when a company turns to a loss, under the topic of "Tax-saving Strategies for Corporate Tax Reduction."
Next, So Jinwoong, research fellow at NH Investment & Securities Asset Management Consulting Division, analyzed the trends in major industries such as semiconductors, secondary batteries, and energy, as well as key variables in domestic and global financial markets. He also presented response strategies for companies and investors under the title "Global Stock Market Outlook and Investment Strategy."
Shim Kyujeong, team manager at the Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated, "Systematic tax management and an understanding of global financial markets are crucial to coping with today’s uncertain business environment," adding, "We will continue to organize professional presentations to strengthen the management capabilities of our region’s companies."
