Sukkyoon Kang, CEO of AhnLab, made this announcement at a press conference held at The Westin Seoul Parnas in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. He added that the company aims to achieve 1 trillion won in sales and have global sales account for at least 30% by 2035.
The company plans to move beyond the stage where AI powers individual product features and expand the application of AI technology company-wide, including its entire security portfolio and operational framework. At the heart of this vision is its proprietary AI security platform, AhnLab AI Plus. Based on the AhnLab AI Plus platform, the company will integrate dispersed data and realize an agentic AI-based architecture in which multiple AI agents collaborate to carry out security operations.
To achieve this, CEO Kang emphasized three key directions: a SaaS (Software as a Service)-centric business structure, AI-native security, and simultaneously advancing customer security value and the company’s growth.
AhnLab will shift from a license-based model to a SaaS-focused structure, enhancing its subscription business. This is to ensure that security products and services are continuously updated in line with the evolving security environments and operational needs of customers. Accordingly, products and services will be reorganized into offerings like “AhnLab AI Plus Endpoint” and “AhnLab AI Plus SecOps.” The Endpoint solution is responsible for detecting and blocking device-specific threats, while SecOps is dedicated to integrated analysis of security data and response.
The company will also implement AI-native security by integrating threat data collected from various security products and powering its analysis with AI. Currently, AhnLab utilizes 13 security-specialized AI models and more than 60 work tools, reducing AI-based security monitoring processing time from five minutes to two minutes.
Over the next three years, AhnLab will invest 100 billion won in AI infrastructure and research and development (R&D). The company intends to accelerate its overall engineering AI transformation by strengthening its capabilities in AI computing, infrastructure, and R&D.
