Platier Expands Adoption of "Genser GEO" in Consumer Goods Official Online Stores
Platier's generative search optimization (GEO) service, "Genser GEO," has been adopted for the official online stores of CJ CheilJedang, HiteJinro Beverage, and Roger Nine (Golfnuts), among others.
According to Platier on September 16, GEO is a technology that structures product data so that generative artificial intelligence (AI) can accurately understand product information and cite company pages when generating answers to related questions. Genser GEO supplements existing product information with AI-friendly explanatory text, Q&A, and structured data, delivering it in a format that client companies can immediately apply to their existing pages. In particular, by applying the same quality standards and reasoning to multiple product pages for unified content generation, it significantly reduces the burden of repetitive content maintenance work. Another strength is its ability to prevent baseless false or exaggerated advertising through fact-checking based on the original text.
During the content creation stage, only facts verified in the original text are used, ensuring that unverified effects or exaggerated expressions are not included, in accordance with industry-specific standards for expression. After application, the brand and product pages are repeatedly measured using the same criteria to see how they are mentioned and cited in response to specific product-related questions. The results are then used as improvement points for the next round of content, establishing what Platier refers to as a 'generate-measure-analyze-reapply' feedback loop.
Platier is also pursuing a plan to reflect customer question types accumulated in its AI conversational search solution, "Genser Discovery," into the measurement question design for GEO. While generative AI search generally does not reveal what users are asking site operators, the types of questions exchanged within the company's own mall become valuable resources for filling this information gap.
