World No. 13 Siwoo Kim will compete in the Genesis Championship, which features a total prize fund of 4 million dollars.
On September 16, the tournament organizers announced, "Siwoo Kim, who has been active on this year's PGA Tour, has confirmed his participation in the Genesis Championship." The event is co-hosted by the Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) Tour and the DP World Tour. It is the largest international professional tournament held in Korea. This year's tournament will take place over four days, from October 22, at Wujeong Hills Country Club in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province.

This year’s tournament will feature 126 top-class players from Korea and abroad, including the top 36 in the Genesis Points standings. The champion will receive 680,000 dollars, a Genesis vehicle, and a two-year exemption to play on the KPGA Tour and DP World Tour from 2027 to 2028.
