Lotte Card Announces First Interim Dividend of 38.2 Billion Won
Board Resolution Passed One Day Before Business Resumption
Lotte Card has decided on a cash dividend of over 30 billion won, just one day before resuming its business operations.
On September 15, Lotte Card announced through a public filing that it held an extraordinary board meeting and resolved to pay a cash dividend totaling 38.2 billion won.
This is the first time that Lotte Card is issuing an interim dividend. It is understood that the interim dividend was initiated following a request from its major shareholder, MBK Partners.
Previously, on July 31 last year, Lotte Card received a 1.5-month business suspension from the Financial Services Commission due to a data breach caused by a hacking incident the previous year. This business suspension remains in effect until today.

Lotte Card is reported to have decided on this interim dividend by comprehensively considering shareholder returns, in line with its plans to enhance shareholder value due to last year’s decline in performance—which led to a reduction in the 2025 year-end dividend amount—as well as this year’s projected earnings and capital adequacy.
