CS Globiz Launches AMD-Powered AI Rugged Tablet Getac G140 in Korea
CS Globiz (CEO Oh Serok), the official Korean partner of Getac Inc., has announced the official launch of the new rugged Copilot+ PC tablet 'Getac G140' equipped with an AMD processor in the domestic market.
The G140 is Getac's first rugged tablet powered by an AMD platform. It features either the AMD Ryzen™ AI 5 340 or Ryzen™ AI 7 350 processor and is equipped with the AMD XDNA™ 2 NPU delivering up to 50 TOPS, enabling users to perform AI-based tasks directly on the device at worksites in industries such as public safety, automotive, and manufacturing.
The G140 supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 as standard, with optional 4G LTE and dual SIM capabilities. It provides two USB4 Type-C ports for high-speed data transfer, video output, and power delivery. The device also offers a 14-inch LumiBond® display with 1,000 nits of brightness, as well as Smart Touch technology that automatically recognizes touch from fingers, stylus, or gloves to optimize usability in the field. Hot-swappable dual batteries allow battery replacement without powering down the device. For security, it features TPM 2.0 and Windows Hello face authentication by default, with optional fingerprint reader, HF RFID reader, and smart card reader.
The G140 industrial tablet is MIL-STD-810H and IP66 certified, can withstand drops from up to 1.2 meters, and operates within a temperature range from minus 29°C to 63°C. Its base model weighs 1.79 kg, with weight varying depending on selected options.
With workstation-level performance and an intuitive display, it is expected to drive strong demand in the B2B market, especially in scenarios requiring precise control of smart factory processes or complex disaster management systems.
