Cooperation to Attract and Settle International Talent in the Region
Dong Eui Science University and KT have joined forces to reduce the inconveniences that international students experience when using telecommunication services for the first time in Korea.
Dong Eui Science University (President Kim Youngdo) announced on September 15 that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with KT on September 1 to enhance the stable domestic life of international students and improve the convenience of using telecommunication services.
Under this agreement, both institutions will support the convenience of telecommunication services for international students. They also agreed to establish a cooperative system to facilitate the attraction and settlement of international talent in the region.
Dong-Eui Institute of Technology has signed a memorandum of understanding with KT to enhance the stability of foreign international students' domestic life and the convenience of using telecommunication services.

Tae Kyung Kim, director of the Office of International Cooperation, stated, "It is important to minimize the daily life inconveniences that international students may face after entering Korea and to support them in enjoying a stable academic life."
Director Kim also said, "We will further strengthen the support system for international students’ settlement through cooperation with KT, and strive to foster global talent."

Kwangwon Park, Managing Director and Head of KT's West Busan Branch, said, "We will actively cooperate so that international students can use telecommunication services more conveniently as they begin their lives in Korea," adding that various support measures will also be put in place.
