Hankook Tire Supplies All-Season ‘Kinetic XP’ Tires for the New Avante
Optimized for All-Season Driving
Stable Braking and Handling
Hankook Tire & Technology announced on the 15th that it will supply the all-season grand touring tire "Kinetic XP," from its comfort tire brand "Kinetic," as original equipment (OE) for the eighth-generation full-change model of Hyundai Motor Company's "The All New Avante."
"The All New Avante" is Hyundai Motor Company's flagship compact sedan, featuring a compact body, sophisticated design, and stable driving performance. It is a key strategic model aimed not only at the domestic market but also at global markets including North America.
Hankook Tire will supply the "Kinetic XP" in 17-inch and 18-inch sizes for the "The All New Avante" sold in Korea. The "Kinetic XP" delivers stable performance and comfortable ride quality across a wide range of climates and driving environments. It can be installed on a variety of vehicles including sedans and SUVs, and is characterized by excellent mileage performance.
The tire adopts a compound (rubber blend) and profile specially optimized for all-season driving, ensuring stable braking and handling performance on wet and snowy roads, along with uniform tread wear. In addition, the tread sipes (grooves on the tread surface) and special shoulder grooves (grooves on the edge) enhance performance on snowy roads. Knurling technology (fine surface patterning) and multi-pitch sequencing (arrangement of tread block intervals) reduce road noise, further supporting a stable and comfortable driving experience.
