NH-Amundi Lists 'HANARO US Agentic AI TOP2+' ETF
A new exchange-traded fund (ETF) has been launched, focusing on leading companies within the next-generation agentic artificial intelligence (AI) industry and related infrastructure ecosystems, which autonomously make decisions and carry out tasks.
On September 15, NH-Amundi Asset Management announced the listing of the 'HANARO US Agentic AI TOP2+' ETF, an ETF that invests in US companies related to agentic AI.
The HANARO US Agentic AI TOP2+ ETF is designed to invest in ten companies listed on the US stock market that are involved in agentic AI and the supporting technology ecosystem. The product analyzes business reports and disclosures using a large language model (LLM) to select companies with a high agentic AI relevance score. Notably, it allocates a total of 50% of its portfolio—25% each—to the top two companies that possess leading foundation models, concentrating its investments in these firms.
The portfolio structure mirrors the operational framework of AI agents and is built around two pillars. To handle reasoning and planning, agents require AI models, and to execute tasks, the necessary infrastructure to run and manage these models must be in place. Accordingly, the fund prioritizes companies that develop frontier AI models or own the cloud infrastructure for running them, while also including infrastructure firms that provide computing power, networking, data, and security required for agent operation.
As of the end of August, Microsoft and Alphabet are the top two holdings. The portfolio also includes companies such as Meta, Amazon.com, CrowdStrike, Datadog, and Dell Technologies.
Another standout feature is that, under the index methodology, companies with high thematic relevance can be included outside of the regular rebalancing schedule when they go public. If major frontier AI companies currently unlisted, such as Anthropic or OpenAI, are listed, the index committee can review their eligibility and add them to the portfolio accordingly.
Agentic AI autonomously sets goals, formulates plans, and executes tasks without users' individual instructions, with its range of applications expanding to corporate work and industrial sites. As businesses begin to entrust AI agents with sensitive information and real operational authority, demand is rising not only for the core models but also for the infrastructure required to run and securely manage these systems.
