Taeseok Optical Submits Preliminary Listing Examination Request for KOSDAQ
Taeseok Optical has submitted a preliminary listing examination request to the Korea Exchange for its planned KOSDAQ listing.
According to Taeseok Optical on September 15, the company is diversifying its product portfolio in the fashion industry based on the capabilities it has accumulated in the eyewear business. On the back of this management strategy, Taeseok Optical achieved an average annual sales growth rate of 115% over the past three years.
The core strengths of Taeseok Optical lie in its merchandise planning, which is based on market demand, as well as in its ability to build a strong brand portfolio. In its global eyewear business, the company has developed products tailored to Korean fit and design preferences, enhancing product suitability for the Korean market while maintaining a unique brand identity. In addition, Taeseok Optical differentiates its products and sales strategies according to the characteristics of each distribution channel, including home shopping, department stores, duty-free shops, company-run stores, and online platforms.
The company is developing a brand portfolio that addresses demand across various age groups and price ranges, consisting of its own brands, licensed brands, and global brands. It has established a repeatable brand development model by securing licenses for existing global brands while constantly discovering new brands and connecting product planning and market testing to brand growth.
Taeseok Optical is also expanding its domestic offline business in earnest. Leveraging its flagship store in Seongsu, which has been operating since December of last year, the company plans to extend its offline presence to major commercial areas, providing spaces where not only domestic consumers but also international visitors to Korea can experience the brand firsthand. Through this effort, Taeseok Optical aims to strengthen brand experience, utilize offline channels as a hub for attracting new customers and testing global demand, and gradually advance into the Asian and North American markets.
