LS Eco Energy Supplies MV Underground Cables to U.S. Solar Power Plant
Expanding Cooperation with Gaon Cable's U.S. Subsidiary
Vietnam Manufacturing Subsidiary's Exports to the U.S. Expected to Rise by 20%
LS Eco Energy is further strengthening its synergy system with Gaon Cable's U.S. subsidiary to accelerate its expansion into the North American power distribution grid market.
On September 15, LS Eco Energy announced that it recently made a decisive supply of medium-voltage (MV) underground cables for a solar power plant project in the United States.

The supplied cables are being used as a key distribution infrastructure to transfer electricity produced within the solar power plant to substation facilities.
Recently, the U.S. market has seen an explosive increase in demand for power grid infrastructure, not only for power generation facilities but also for electricity transmission and distribution, due to the accelerated construction of artificial intelligence (AI) data centers and the expansion of investment in renewable energy. In response, LSCUS is more than doubling its current local production capacity, and is actively utilizing LS-VINA’s production base to respond flexibly to surging local demand. As a result, LS-VINA’s MV cable exports to the United States this year are expected to soar by more than 20% compared to the previous year.
LS Eco Energy plans to steadily increase its supply of distribution cables to the North American new power infrastructure market, including solar power plants, based on its close cooperation with Gaon Cable. Additionally, on the strength of its proven track record supplying extra-high voltage cables to global markets such as Europe and Singapore, the company recently obtained technical certification for 230kV cables in the United States and plans to actively advance into the North American extra-high voltage power grid market going forward.
