Inhwa Jang, Honorary Chairman of the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has been appointed as the 8th Chairman of the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership. His term will last for two years, with his official inauguration scheduled for September 23.
The Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership announced on September 15 that it held its 89th committee meeting at the Kensington Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul, where it appointed Honorary Chairman Jang as the 8th Chairman.
The Commission selected the new Chairman Jang through a process that included collecting opinions and recommendations from economic organizations and related institutions.

The new Chairman Jang was born in Busan in 1963 and previously served as Chairman of the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Senior Vice Chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of the Busan Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, and Vice Chairman of the Korea Federation of SMEs. He has also actively contributed to the local community and the sports sector by serving as President of the Busan Sports Council and as the head of the Republic of Korea's Olympic team at the Tokyo Olympics.
