National Palace Museum to Offer Royal Experience Programs at Daejeon Expo
Royal Cultural Heritage Experiences, Including "Wise Life of a Royal Physician,"
at Daejeon Convention Center, September 18-20
The National Palace Museum will operate royal cultural heritage experience and educational programs at the "Museum & Art Museum Expo" to be held at the Daejeon Convention Center from September 18 to 20. For the first time, the museum will set up an independent promotion space to comprehensively showcase its educational programs.
The main program is "Wise Life of a Royal Physician." In this activity, guardians and children team up to learn about the function and food therapy practices of the royal medical institution, Naeuiwon, during the Joseon Dynasty through both theoretical lessons and acupuncture. The program will be held twice a day on the 18th and 19th, for a total of four sessions.
