Over the past three weeks, Mirae Asset Securities held a total of three seminars for public enterprises, concluding the event on the 11th with the final session. The first session covered financial and non-financial areas relevant to public enterprises, followed by in-depth discussions on total personnel expenses, retirement pensions, major management issues facing public enterprises, changes in the retirement pension market, and strategies for strengthening competitiveness.
In particular, during the seminar, Mirae Asset Securities released data-based analysis of retirement pension management in public enterprises. By presenting comparative analyses of how public enterprises actually manage their retirement pensions according to different standards and methods, the seminar enabled each institution to assess the level of its own retirement pension operations.
The seminar drew significant attention, with approximately 250 participants from 84 institutions nationwide. The level of engagement was so high that questions from attendees continued into the scheduled breaks, demonstrating the strong response the event received.
Hyunwook Kim, Managing Director of the Pension Corporate Solutions Division at Mirae Asset Securities, stated, "Since last year, after establishing a dedicated organization for public enterprises, we developed this seminar with the insight that retirement pension management must also be approached differently in line with the unique characteristics of public enterprises. We hope this seminar will serve as a helpful resource for rational management and operation of both institutional management and retirement pensions."
