Chohyunmin, CEO of DRB Dongil Co., Ltd., received the Presidential Commendation at the '2026 Job Creation Merit Government Awards' ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, held on the 10th at the Yongsan Peak & Park Convention.
The 'Job Creation Merit Government Awards' is an official government commendation aimed at recognizing individuals and organizations who have contributed to promoting youth and senior employment, job creation, work-life balance, and the improvement of working environments.
CEO Cho was highly praised for establishing new organizations and increasing workforce as a foundation for future growth, directly leading to notable employment outcomes. In addition, her push for hiring diversity, flexible working environments, and improved organizational culture received high evaluation.
From 2024 to 2025, DRB Dongil established four new organizations and recruited specialized talent to drive digital transformation, respond to the era of AI, and develop new business and educational content. Jobs created directly related to future growth accounted for about 11% of total staff, and the headcount at the end of 2025 increased by 42.5% compared to the end of 2023.
This employment expansion also led to greater diversity in age and gender. During the same period, the number of young employees increased by about 1.6 times and senior employees doubled, while the female employment rate rose from 27.8% to 32.2%, an increase of 4.4 percentage points.
The company also made efforts to improve the working environment. The number of employees using flexible work hours doubled compared to 2023, and employees could take summer holidays freely in addition to their annual leave. Family-friendly welfare programs, such as financial support for childbirth, school entrance, and childcare, were expanded, and leisure support programs, including in-house clubs and one-day classes, were also offered. Based on these initiatives, DRB Dongil obtained both the Family-Friendly Company and Leisure-Friendly Company certifications in 2025.
Efforts to strengthen communication and collaboration within the organization continued as well. The company runs the 'DRB Forum' for sharing company-wide knowledge and information, and 'DRB Leadership Day,' where managers share organizational direction. Through organizational and team-level 'Change Agents,' work habits and processes are being improved. In addition, the 'Change Supporters,' led by Millennials & Gen Z employees, are operated to encourage interaction among employees and boost organizational vitality.
DRB Dongil is also working toward co-prosperity with the local community. Through the DRB social contribution platform 'Campus D,' the company provides office space and equipment to social enterprises, non-profit organizations, cultural and artistic groups, and youth startups, as well as lunch support in the company cafeteria. Startups with technology-based business items also receive office space and support for early-stage business operations through the 'DRB Launchpad.' These efforts are helping to promote youth entrepreneurship and vitalize the local startup ecosystem.
