Police Conduct Search and Seizure Related to Mayor Jin-Gyu Kim’s Alleged Election Law Violation
The police have launched a compulsory investigation into allegations of election law violations by Jin-Gyu Kim, Mayor of Incheon Geomdan District.
The Cyber Investigation Unit of the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency conducted a search and seizure on the 14th targeting A, a former driver of the mayor, in connection with Mayor Kim’s suspected violation of the Public Official Election Act.
It was reported that during the search and seizure, police secured materials such as A’s mobile phone to verify the facts behind the alleged offenses.
