This marks the first and only case in Korea where government recognition has been granted for AI competency certification.
The goal of the AI Literacy program is to ensure all employees acquire essential AI-related competencies. The program is designed to both cultivate and assess generative AI skills needed for day-to-day work, such as document composition, data structuring, spreadsheet usage, and basic programming. The AI Bootcamp is a training program for nurturing AI experts, designed to foster specialists who can be immediately deployed on site in industrial environments.
SK AX has also established a management system to enhance the fairness and reliability of its certification results. Reflecting the principles of the AI Basic Act implemented in January, the company has ensured reduced bias in test question creation and evaluation processes, and mandated that final outcomes be overseen by humans. In addition, all employees have received guidance on labeling generative AI outputs and adhering to ethical guidelines.
