SC First Bank Korea Launches Hi Account Special Interest Promotion... Up to 4.0% Per Annum
Special Interest Rate Ends on January 31 Next Year
Promotion Targeted at "First-Time Customers"
SC First Bank Korea announced on September 14 that it is launching a special promotion for its 'Hi Account,' offering a maximum annual interest rate of 4.0%.
Through this event, first-time customers who open a Hi Account will receive a special interest rate of 3.4 percentage points annually, regardless of their deposit balance. If combined with all applicable preferential rates, customers can enjoy a maximum annual rate of 4.0%.
The end date for the special interest rate is January 31 of next year for all, regardless of when the account is opened. Therefore, the earlier one opens the account, the longer they can benefit from the special rate.
Eligible first-time customers are either new customers whose information has been registered with SC First Bank Korea within the last 31 days or existing customers who have not held any KRW or foreign currency demand deposit or time deposit accounts at SC First Bank Korea for the past year.
The base interest rate for the Hi Account is 0.1% per annum. Preferential rates may be added, including 1.2% to 2.0% per annum depending on the deposit balance for first-time customers, 0.1% per annum for new customers using affiliated channels, 0.2% per annum for those agreeing to marketing communications, and 0.2% per annum for Priority Banking customers.
