Lunit Demonstrates AI Interpretation Solutions On-Site at KCR 2026
Demonstrating the AI Reading Process for CXR4, MMG, and More
Lunit announced on the 14th that it successfully operated its interactive exhibition booth and presented academic sessions at the 82nd Korean Congress of Radiology (KCR 2026), which was held at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, from September 9 to September 12.
The KCR is the largest radiology conference in Korea, and this year, approximately 3,800 participants from 40 countries attended.
Lunit showcased an interactive booth where visitors could directly experience its artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. Programs included the "Lunit INSIGHT Challenge," where participants interpreted chest X-rays and mammography images and compared the results with AI analysis, as well as live demonstrations of the reading process using Lunit INSIGHT CXR4, Lunit INSIGHT MMG, and Lunit INSIGHT DBT.
On the last day of the event, a luncheon symposium was held under the theme "AI-Based Selection of Normal Cases in Chest X-rays: From Clinical Evidence to Real-World Use." The session was chaired by Professor Park Changmin of Seoul National University Hospital's Department of Radiology. Presenters included Sanghyup Lee, Medical Director at Lunit, and Professor Kim Moon Young of Seoul Boramae Hospital's Department of Radiology. Director Lee discussed improvements to the reading workflow, focusing on the normal-case selection function of the Lunit INSIGHT CXR4 AI imaging analysis solution for chest X-rays. Professor Kim shared the changes observed from implementing this function in clinical practice thus far.
On the same morning, during the radiology AI session, Director Lee also gave a presentation on the topic "Autonomous AI in Radiology: Are We Ready?"
