Yuyu Pharma Installs New Solar Power Facility at Jecheon Plant
"Generating Over 30% of Electricity Consumption"
Yuyu Pharma is taking steps toward eco-friendly management by installing a self-consumption solar power generation facility at its Jecheon plant.
On September 14, Yuyu Pharma announced that it had newly installed an 869 kW-scale solar power generation system on the soccer field, the production and engineering buildings, and the logistics warehouse rooftop at its Jecheon plant. This facility is expected to supply more than 30% of the Jecheon plant's electricity consumption.
Following the installation of a 30 kW solar power facility in 2020 and a 96.6 kW facility in 2021, the company can now secure a total of up to 1 MW of electricity through this new installation.
Yuyu Pharma forecasts that this will result in a minimum annual power generation of 1.2 million kWh. The company expects cumulative power generation over the next 25 years to reach approximately 30.96 million kWh.
