The company has begun marketing its “Integrated AI Home Solution” targeting local construction firms and related industries.
This experience space showcases a completed residential environment with locally customized built-in appliances such as ovens, hoods, and refrigerators, as well as lifestyle furniture. Visitors can tour the space, decorated to resemble a real home, and intuitively experience a next-generation living environment where AI understands customer lifestyle patterns and spatial characteristics to provide personalized adjustments.
Notably, the space allows for intuitive control via natural voice commands through ThinQ ON, LG’s AI home hub, and is seamlessly integrated with the open platform “Homey Pro,” enabling unified management of a variety of IoT devices that are sold in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
In addition, LG Electronics has partnered with energy management company Schneider Electric and global security company Assa Abloy to establish a turnkey building management solution that encompasses appliances, HVAC, energy management, and security, drawing significant attention from local B2B visitors.
According to market research firm Grand View Horizon, the Saudi smart home market is expected to grow rapidly from about $2 billion in 2024 to around $8.7 billion by 2030, with an annual growth rate of over 27%. Leveraging Saudi Arabia's geopolitical advantages, LG Electronics plans to use the country as a B2B showroom hub for the Middle East and Africa and aims to further expand its customer engagement points by the end of the year to other major cities including Jeddah and Dammam.
LG Electronics is continuously strengthening its global AI home B2B business portfolio, customized to residential environments around the world—including South Korea (applied to more than one million apartment units), North America (with the builder-exclusive “LG ThinQ Pro”), and Europe (energy management systems based on the “Homey” platform).
