Samsung Securities Signs MOU with Global Financial Group BNY
Samsung Securities is accelerating the strengthening of its global financial infrastructure and new business capabilities by joining forces with BNY, a global comprehensive financial group boasting more than 240 years of tradition.
Samsung Securities announced on the 13th that on the 10th (local time), it signed a comprehensive business agreement (MOU) for cooperation in global asset management and financial solutions at BNY’s headquarters in New York, USA.

View original imageThis business agreement aims to not only advance infrastructure in core traditional securities business areas such as equity brokerage and clearing work, securities collateral management, and securities financing, but also to expand the work scope to new business areas like artificial intelligence (AI) and digital assets, thereby broadening the global network of both companies.
Established in 1784, BNY is the oldest global comprehensive financial group in US history and provides services to clients in more than 100 markets worldwide. The firm is highly regarded for offering customized solutions based on its outstanding expertise and infrastructure across diverse financial sectors, including custody and investment services, as well as asset management and capital market solutions.

Meanwhile, during his trip to the US, President Paik also met with major global partners such as Morgan Stanley in addition to BNY, discussing ways to expand overseas investment information channels and introduce advanced financial services for domestic institutional and individual investors.
