This year, SK Telecom has operated this service a total of 145 times across 74 cities and counties nationwide, directly engaging with approximately 13,000 customers.
Under this agreement, SK Telecom plans to operate the Visiting Service eight times in total, twice for each of the local governments. Taking into account the high proportion of elderly residents, the program will include practical training sessions on topics such as preventing financial crimes and using mobile phones. In addition, regardless of the user's mobile carrier, the program will provide device care services such as smartphone check-ups, sanitizing cleanings, and protective film replacements, as well as consultations on communication services. The four counties will determine the location, operating method, and scale of participation based on local circumstances, and leverage local networks to encourage resident participation.
