Master's in Business Administration with Linked ESG and ISO Professional Certifications

Open to Working Professionals, Self-Employed Individuals, Homemakers, and Retirees

The Department of ESG Management at the Graduate School of Industrial Convergence, Silla University, is recruiting new and transfer students for its master's program aimed at training specialists in ESG and ISO auditing.

The ESG Management Department offers a curriculum that allows students to obtain a Master’s degree in Business Administration as well as three ESG-related certifications and four ISO-related certifications. The program covers ESG certification evaluator and ESG consultant qualifications, as well as ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety), and ISO 37001 (Anti-Bribery).

Applications are divided into the contract department track and the general track. Employees of organizations with five or more people can apply through the contract department, while self-employed individuals, homemakers, retirees, and soon-to-be retirees are eligible to apply through the general track.

Classes are primarily held in person on Saturdays to accommodate working professionals and adult learners. Notably, working students will undertake a capstone project, developing ESG and ISO audit plans for their workplaces and proposing improvement measures.

Kim Seonggeun, Professor of ESG Management at Silla University, stated, “ESG is not just a task for certain departments within companies or public institutions, but a competency required across overall management strategy and organizational operations. We aim to provide a practice-oriented curriculum so students can gain both a master’s degree and specialized expertise as ESG and ISO auditors.”
