"Our Neighborhood Oral Care Center" Opens in Jeonju
Operated in Collaboration with Jeonbuk Province, Jeonbuk National University, and LH
Woori Financial Group and Woori Financial Group Future Foundation announced on September 11 that they have opened the third branch of the "Our Neighborhood Oral Care Center," a free dental clinic for vulnerable groups, in Jeonju, Jeonbuk.

View original imageThe Jeonju branch is operated in cooperation with Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, Jeonbuk National University, and Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH). Woori Financial Group Future Foundation supports operating costs such as clinic interior and medical equipment purchases, while the province is responsible for recruiting patients and promoting the center in the local community. Jeonbuk National University provides dental professors and students to volunteer for medical services, and LH provides the clinic space.
The Our Neighborhood Oral Care Center aims to reduce healthcare disparities among vulnerable populations and improve their quality of life. The first branch opened in a Seoul Donu-dong jjokbang village in 2022, followed by the second branch in the Seoul Station jjokbang village in 2024. The first and second branches together provided a total of 8,522 free dental treatments, including implants, dentures, periodontitis treatment, and cavity treatments, to 564 local residents.
