Previously, around 200 domestic and international investors and officials attended the investment promotion briefing held at the Changwon Convention Center. Afterwards, a two-day on-site schedule was organized, dividing participants into the Jirisan area and the southern coastal area to visit potential investment sites.
Hapcheon County was included as the first destination in the Jirisan area on-site tour, with approximately 30 domestic and international investors and officials participating that day.
Participants visited the Hapcheon Auxiliary Dam tourist site, where they were briefed on the location, transportation accessibility, nearby tourism facilities, and development plans of the site.
Hapcheon County explained its development vision linking the Hapcheon Auxiliary Dam tourist site with surrounding tourism resources and presented the possibility of private investment for establishing resort-type tourism facilities.
An investment opportunity was also proposed regarding tourism development at Hwangmaesan.
The county described to the participants the project concept and investment direction of the Hwangmaesan monorail installation project, which is being promoted as part of the 9th popularly elected administration’s pledged projects.
The delegation then toured Hapcheon Film Theme Park to review potential connections between existing tourism facilities and prospective investment sites.
Hapcheon County plans to use this on-site tour as an opportunity to introduce local tourism development candidate sites to investors and continue investment discussions with interested companies moving forward.
