Product and Card Recommendations Now Available on ChatGPT for Kakao as Kakao Tools Adds New Partners
Seven New Services Added Including Daisomall, Shinsegae Duty Free, and Shinhan Card
Kakao announced on September 11 that it has added seven new partner services to its artificial intelligence (AI) agent service, 'Kakao Tools', embedded within KakaoTalk.
The newly joined partner companies are Daisomall, Lookslu, SpaceCloud, Shinsegae Duty Free, Shinhan Card, LF Mall, and Cheongyeon. Including OP.GG, Zigbang, and Hanatour, which had previously completed integration, a total of 10 new partners have joined through this second phase of collaboration.
Kakao Tools is an AI agent service that integrates with a wide variety of services both within and outside of Kakao, and is accessible via ChatGPT for Kakao within KakaoTalk. With this collaboration, Kakao Tools now connects with services in fields such as gaming, lifestyle, finance, and shopping, thus expanding its scope.
Kakao plans to further enhance the utility of Kakao Tools by collaborating with partners who have expertise in their respective fields. The company aims to increase the connection points between partner services and AI, allowing users to experience the convenience that AI offers.
Currently, a total of 28 services—including those from Kakao, its affiliates, and partner companies—are integrated with Kakao Tools. As additional developer tool services are incorporated, the range of services available to users is expected to expand even further.
