IBK Industrial Bank of Korea Opens Children's Financial Job Experience Center
Debut of ‘Digital Finance Center’ at KidZania Seoul
Busan Branch to Open on September 21
On September 11, IBK Industrial Bank of Korea announced that it had opened the 'Digital Finance Center', a children's financial job experience hall, together with KidZania Seoul, the global children's job experience theme park.
The opening ceremony was attended by key figures, including Minyoung Jang, President and CEO of IBK Industrial Bank of Korea, and Junshik Ahn, CEO of KidZania. The bank also plans to open a Digital Finance Center at KidZania Busan on September 21.
The Digital Finance Center is a next-generation job experience hall designed to allow children to take on the role of a financial dealer and receive basic economic education. The center consists of a job experience zone, where children become financial dealers and learn about diversified investment; a customer experience zone, where they can experience services such as issuing bankbooks and cards; and a parent experience zone, which analyzes children’s financial tendencies and provides customized financial reports. This makes it a space where the whole family can participate together.
IBK Industrial Bank of Korea also plans to partner with public welfare foundations in the future to provide free KidZania admission tickets for children from marginalized or underprivileged backgrounds.

President Jang stated, “I hope this Digital Finance Center will serve as an opportunity for children to understand the role of finance and digital finance in a fun and easy way,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to help future generations develop sound financial habits.”
