Yamaha Music Korea Launches Compact Digital Mixing Console 'DM5' in Korea
Same GUI as DM7 Series, Enhanced User-Friendly Controls
Yamaha Music Korea announced on the 11th that it has officially launched the compact digital mixing console 'DM5' in Korea, featuring key functions from its higher-end models.
The DM5 incorporates the same graphical user interface (GUI) as the top-tier 'DM7' series, ensuring data compatibility. It can be used in various audio environments, such as live performances and event stages, as well as small to mid-sized churches, theaters, and auditoriums.
Additionally, it comes equipped with the Dante audio network. Dedicated input/output (I/O) boxes—including the 'RUio1608SB-D', 'RUio0804-D', and 'RUio16FLX-D'—can be connected via the Dante network. If the optional 'PY-DSP' card is installed, users can also run the same plug-ins used on large-scale consoles.
The display is adjustable to four different angles, and, reflecting the needs of Korean users, the DM5 supports multiple languages and can display channel names in Korean. The control section is equipped with a 'Glass Key' interface, which changes the displayed content according to the function in use.
