Suwon Unveils Four-Year Blueprint for the Completion of the Suwon Great Transformation
Suwon City in Gyeonggi Province has set "Completion of the Suwon Great Transformation" as its vision for the 9th popular election, with three major municipal administration goals: "A City of Livelihood Stability for Citizens," "A City of Mutual Growth through Culture and Tourism," and "A City of Advanced Science and Research."
On September 10, Suwon City held the "Suwon Great Transformation Promotion Team Final Report Meeting" in the City Hall Medium Conference Room and presented the vision, principles, and objectives for the ninth elected administration.
The Suwon Great Transformation Promotion Team, which was launched in June, operated three separate divisions: Affordable Livelihood City, Cultural Tourism Hub City, and Advanced Science Research City. Through these teams, the direction for the ninth local administration was established and a four-year municipal operational plan was created. The promotion team was composed of experts from various fields, governance bodies, organizations, and members of civil society groups.
The Suwon Great Transformation Promotion Team reviewed the new administration’s pledges and citizens’ proposals, gathered public opinion, and through deliberation established 60 municipal projects to realize the administration's goals and objectives.
