Dynamic Design Receives Minister’s Commendation for Outstanding Job Creation
Dynamic Design has been awarded a commendation from the Minister of Employment and Labor in recognition of its achievements in expanding employment opportunities and improving working conditions for a diverse range of groups, including young people, women, older adults, and people with disabilities.
The Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced that, at the 2026 Government Commendation Ceremony for Job Creation held on September 10, Dynamic Design received the Minister of Employment and Labor Award for its contributions to job creation and the improvement of employment quality.
The Government Commendation for Contributions to Job Creation is a system in which the Ministry of Employment and Labor identifies and awards companies and individuals who have played a leading role in promoting youth employment and employment stability. Recipients are selected through a comprehensive evaluation of their achievements and contributions in areas such as job creation, work-life balance, and improvements in working environments over the past two years.
Founded in 1981, Dynamic Design is a company specializing in tire molds. The company pioneered the localization of tire molds and has developed both the domestic tire mold and tire manufacturing equipment sectors. It has been recognized for raising global market competitiveness through ongoing investment in R&D and management innovation, while also focusing on expanding employment.
In particular, over the past two years, Dynamic Design has actively expanded employment by hiring 80 new employees. More than half of the new hires were young people, and the company also increased opportunities for women, older adults, and people with severe disabilities. Over 93% of employees are regular workers, ensuring a high level of employment stability.
The company has also focused on nurturing local talent. It expanded industry-academia cooperation with local specialized high schools and universities to foster talent, and was awarded a commendation from the superintendent of education for its achievements in industry-academia collaboration.
Dynamic Design has also prioritized work-life balance through improvements in the work environment. The company introduced a continuous employment system, enabling skilled employees to continue working after reaching retirement age. Flexible working systems, such as staggered work hours and remote work options, have also been implemented. Additionally, support for childcare and efforts to improve organizational culture have aided employees in achieving better work-life balance.
The company also made accomplishments in building a culture of labor-management cooperation. By strengthening labor-management cooperation, it has maintained a union-dispute-free workplace for over five years, contributing to stable relations between labor and management.
The Ministry of Employment and Labor’s government commendation for contributions to job creation has been recognizing companies and individuals that take the lead in creating quality jobs and encouraging job creation since 2009. Dynamic Design was selected as this year’s recipient enterprise through a comprehensive evaluation after being nominated by the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Han Sangwon, Chairman of the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated, "Even under challenging business circumstances, Dynamic Design has been highly committed to increasing local employment through active recruitment, implementing employment policies that consider young people and vulnerable groups, and continuously striving to improve the quality of good jobs through flexible work, childcare support, and labor-management cooperation."
