"Strengthening Global Investment Solutions"
Korea Investment & Securities is rapidly establishing strategic partnerships with global asset managers such as Fidelity, PIMCO, and Carlyle, thereby expanding its partnership portfolio across all areas of global investment.
According to Korea Investment & Securities on September 10, this collaboration is significant as it marks the realization of the company’s ongoing global business strategy through practical alliances with world-class asset managers. By combining each partner's expertise and investment capabilities with Korea Investment & Securities' products and services, the company is expected to further enhance its global investment solutions for domestic clients.

The two companies agreed to exclusively provide Fidelity’s extensive research capabilities in global macro, equities, bonds, and multi-asset strategies to the Korean market, while seeking opportunities for joint product development and co-investment. They plan to launch the first collaborative product, the "Korea-China-US Tech Fund," as well as to expand the domestic distribution of major Fidelity investment products. A wide range of retail collaborations will be pursued, such as providing global investment education for Korea Investment & Securities PBs and employees.
Then, on September 9 (local time) in New York, separate financial business agreements were signed with PIMCO and Carlyle. PIMCO is a global bond specialist managing approximately 2.33 trillion USD (about 3,215 trillion KRW) in assets. Korea Investment & Securities entered into a short-term fund management agreement with PIMCO. For retail clients, the company plans to strengthen its proprietary research service within its Mobile Trading System (MTS) based on PIMCO's global market outlook and major event analysis content.
In addition, Korea Investment & Securities will expand its collaboration in the sale of various PIMCO fund products through regular introductions in Korea and will also work together on the development of customized products leveraging PIMCO's asset management solutions. The scope of cooperation will be further broadened to include the development of customized asset management solutions such as separately managed accounts (SMA) and wrap accounts.

The companies signed an agreement for discretionary fund management and, taking market conditions and investment performance into account, plan to promote investments using short-term financial resources.
Through these partnerships, Korea Investment & Securities aims not only to import the expertise of global financial institutions, but also to strengthen its global business model by directly connecting these capabilities to areas such as products, research, and asset management that engage with actual clients. The goal is to provide global investment products and information—previously available only to select professional clients or overseas markets—to domestic investors in a timely manner and to secure new high-quality investment opportunities.
