Korea SMEs and Startups Agency’s "Empty Today, Fill Tomorrow" Campaign Draws Participation from 124 Companies
Campaign to Promote Integrity and ESG Values
for Companies Enrolled in the Performance Compensation Mutual Aid Program
The Korea SMEs and Startups Agency announced on September 10 that a total of 124 companies and 601 individuals participated in the "Empty Today, Fill Tomorrow" campaign, which targeted companies enrolled in the Performance Compensation Mutual Aid program.
This campaign, held from August 3 to August 28, was initiated for the first time this year to promote the value of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) by combining integrity and ethical practices with environmental protection activities for both companies and employees enrolled in the Performance Compensation Mutual Aid program.
"Empty Today, Fill Tomorrow" signifies "emptying today's greed (misconduct and resource waste) to fill tomorrow with trust (integrity) and a sustainable future (environmental protection)."
Participants took part in ethical and human rights pledges and signed integrity oaths. They also engaged in various environmentally friendly activities in their daily lives, such as using public transportation, opting for reusable goods, and purchasing eco-friendly products. In particular, the campaign was operated in a way that encouraged joint participation by employees and executives, creating an opportunity for all company members to share and embody the values of integrity and environmental protection together, going beyond personal actions.
