TIPA Supports Investment Attraction for Promising SMEs in Gangwon and Chungcheong Regions
The 5th R&D Specialized Bank Investment Briefing Session Held
The SME Technology Information Promotion Agency (TIPA) announced on September 9 that it held the "5th SME Research & Development (R&D) Specialized Bank Investment Briefing Session for 2026" at the TIPA Metropolitan Evaluation Office over two days, from September 8 to 9.
This investment briefing was organized to support the commercialization and investment attraction of R&D-performing SMEs located in the Gangwon and Chungcheong regions (Gangwon, Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, and Chungbuk). TIPA collaborated with IBK Industrial Bank of Korea and Hana Bank, which serve as SME R&D fund deposit specialized banks.

View original imageTIPA selected the final 10 companies to present after a prior screening for technical excellence and marketability among those that applied during a three-week period from August 3 to 24.
The selected companies conducted in-person IR (investment presentations) for investment managers from IBK Industrial Bank of Korea and Hana Bank. Companies that drew interest from the investment managers will undergo follow-up meetings before a final investment decision is made.
