[Click eStock] Bank Stocks with Record Performance, Highest Shareholder Return Rate
Kiwoom Securities has raised its target price for KB Financial Group from 230,000 won to 240,000 won. The company maintained its buy investment rating.
On September 10, Eun Gap Kim, a researcher at Kiwoom Securities, stated, "Given KB Financial Group's highest shareholder return rate among banking stocks and a return on equity (ROE) of over 11%, the company is positioned to enjoy a price-to-book ratio (PBR) premium within the banking industry."
Kim further explained, "At the end of the second quarter this year, the common equity tier 1 (CET1) ratio stood at 13.74%. The capital corresponding to the 0.24 percentage points above the 13.5% level is expected to be used as an additional source for shareholder returns in the second half of this year." He added, "Total shareholder returns for this year are expected to reach approximately 3.7 trillion won, with the shareholder return rate projected at 55%."
