Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation Steps Up to Strengthen Management Capabilities of SMEs and Small Business Owners Through Education and Support
Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation is going beyond financial support by connecting education, consulting, and advisory services to strengthen the business capabilities of small business owners in the province.
On September 9, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation held the “Successful Knock Seminar with Gyeonggi Small Businesses” at the auditorium on the third floor of its Suwon headquarters, with about 100 local small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs in attendance.
This seminar was jointly organized by Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation and Shinhan Bank to provide small business owners with practical information and know-how essential for business operations, so they can respond effectively to the rapidly changing economic and business landscape.
In particular, the seminar was meaningful in that it supported the management stability and self-sufficiency of small business owners, aligning with Gyeonggi Province Governor Choo Mi-ae’s emphasis on the importance of the livelihood economy during the provincial policy briefing in July this year.
The seminar featured three expert lectures on topics directly related to the daily operations of small business owners.
In the first lecture, Dr. Jeong Kiheon from the Research and Analysis Team at Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation presented “Economic Outlook for the Second Half of the Year and Small Business Response Strategies,” analyzing the economic trends and key variables of the second half of this year and suggesting directions for adapting to a changing business environment.
This was followed by a lecture from YouTuber Jang Jinsoo, who runs the delivery-focused YouTube channel “Baedal Jang Coach.” Under the theme “How to Run a Smarter Delivery Business,” he introduced practical methods for utilizing delivery platforms and shared hands-on know-how for boosting sales, centering on actionable real-world cases that resonated strongly with attendees.

Together with the lectures, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation also offered topic-specific advisory sessions so that small business owners could resolve challenges they face in management and finance.
Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation plans to use this seminar as an opportunity to strengthen a comprehensive support system for small businesses—going beyond simply providing guarantees to encompass education, consulting, and financial advisory services. Going forward, the foundation will continue to develop and support programs tailored to the actual management needs of small business owners.
