Second Half of Cheongdo Travel Pangpang Support Program Launched
‘Memory·Accompaniment Mailbox’ Exhibition Held for Dementia Awareness Week
Cheongdo County announced that it will officially launch the 'Second Half of 2026 Cheongdo Travel Pangpang Support Program' to attract tourists and revitalize the local economy during the autumn travel season, while also operating the 'Memory·Accompaniment Mailbox' exhibition to mark Dementia Awareness Day.
The 'Cheongdo Travel Pangpang Support Program,' a special Cheongdo-style half-price travel project, is targeted at individual tourists residing outside Cheongdo County.
This incentive program refunds 50% of the amount spent at designated tourist sites and local businesses within the county (up to 100,000 won) in the form of Cheongdo Love Gift Certificates. Following the early conclusion of the project in the first half of the year, it will now proceed in the second half as well.
Advance applications will be accepted from September 11 to September 15 through the integrated reservation system on the Cheongdo County website, and the travel period will run from September 18 to November 22.
Recipients from the first half of the year are excluded, and only one person per household at the same address may apply.
Additionally, to commemorate Dementia Awareness Day on September 21, Cheongdo County will host the 'Memory·Accompaniment Mailbox' exhibition at the Dementia Safety Center for one week starting September 9.
On September 5, local residents who visited Cheongdo Eupseong shared postcards containing messages of support and encouragement for dementia patients, aiming to raise community awareness about dementia and highlight the importance of early screening.
