Nexon Mintrocket’s "Dave the Diver" Surpasses 10 Million Units Sold Globally
First Korean Single-Package Game to Set a New Record
Global Mobile Release Slated for September 17
Internal Celebrations Include Pure Gold Cards for All Employees
NEXON subsidiary Mintrocket announced on September 9 that its hybrid ocean adventure game "Dave the Diver" has surpassed a cumulative global sales milestone of 10 million units, marking the first time in Korean single-package game history that a title has achieved this feat.
"Dave the Diver" offers a unique blend of exploration, collection, and management, allowing players to gather marine life during the day and operate a sushi restaurant with the collected ingredients at night. Since its launch in 2023, the game has enjoyed consistent popularity. The downloadable content (DLC) "The Jungle," which was released in June of this year, recorded 1 million copies sold within just over two months.
The game, which originally launched on PC, has since expanded to all major consoles, including PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. The mobile version, which debuted in China earlier this year, will see its global official launch on September 17. The mobile edition has introduced controls optimized for the platform, such as touch and tilt, faithfully replicating the tactile gameplay of the original.
