DYSS Dynamics Supplies Over 13,000 Precision Parts for Guided Weapons Cumulatively
DYSS's subsidiary DYSS Dynamics has supplied a cumulative total of approximately 13,000 precision parts for guided weapons.
According to DYSS Dynamics on September 9, the company plans to supply additional related parts through 2030 based on the contracts and delivery plans it has secured so far. As exports of guided weapons by Korean defense companies are expanding in global markets, including the Middle East, the company expects stable revenue recognition from existing supply volumes as well as further business opportunities.
Parts applied to guided weapons require a much higher degree of precision and quality stability compared to general industrial components, thus presenting substantial barriers to entry. Even the slightest machining errors can have a direct impact on product performance and reliability, so both advanced precision machining equipment and comprehensive quality management and measurement capabilities throughout the production process are essential.
DYSS Dynamics has established high-end precision machining facilities such as five-axis MCTs at a higher level than companies of similar size and owns a wide range of specialized precision measurement devices, including three-dimensional measuring machines. At each processing stage, precision measurements and quality verification are carried out, and the results are immediately reflected in the production process, ensuring high quality stability and production yield.
The parent company DYSS is also actively supporting the expansion of its subsidiary's defense business. In May, DYSS succeeded in attracting an investment of KRW 2 billion from LIG Defense & Aerospace (LIG D&A) through a third-party allocation paid-in capital increase. The proceeds have been reinvested into DYSS Dynamics to be used as growth capital for the expansion of the defense business.

A company representative stated, “As the performance and production competitiveness of domestically produced guided weapons have been recognized in the global market, overseas demand for major defense products such as Cheongung is rapidly increasing. As the expansion of guided weapon production is expected to lead to a rise in demand for core precision parts, we will continue to respond reliably to existing supply volumes while steadily expanding new business opportunities.”
