Dalseo Lifelong Learning Center in Daegu to Recruit 35 Regular Instructors in Music, Art, Cooking, Plants, and Culture
Daegu Dalseo District announced on September 9 that it will hold an open recruitment for instructors to run regular courses at the Dalseo Lifelong Learning Center in 2027.
The Dalseo Lifelong Learning Center, which opened in 2025 as the largest center in the region, has established itself as a hub institution for lifelong learning, offering a wide range of lifelong education services, including regular courses, specialized programs, lifelong learning training, and support for resident learning counseling.
This open recruitment, held for the second year in a row, seeks to attract outstanding instructors with expertise and teaching competence in the relevant fields who can provide high-quality education.
The recruitment categories include a total of nine fields—language, music, art, digital, sports for daily life, cooking·tea, plants·crafts, culture·leisure, and other proposals—with 50 classes in total. The number of instructors to be recruited is 35.
Of the 50 classes, five will be recruited through a "free proposal" format, where instructors design their own programs. In addition to the 45 pre-arranged courses, new classes can be proposed in various fields such as self-development, creative convergence, financial management, and professional capacity building.
Applicants may submit their applications over a three-day period from September 14 to 16 by downloading the application form from the Dalseo District Office website, completing it, and submitting it in person at the Dalseo Lifelong Learning Center.
The selection process will involve a first-round document screening, followed by interviews in the second round. The instructors who are finally selected will be appointed as regular instructors from January to December 2027 and will run courses at the Dalseo Lifelong Learning Center.
